Exam

Registration is required both at TUMonline (electronically) and at our office (by entering your name into a list posted on door of office 03.05.052).
Oral exams (mündliche Prüfungen) are offered on 12/2, 23/2, 24/2, 25/2, 2/3, 15/3, 14/4 (British date format). You may pick any available time slot at your discretion when you enter your name into the exam list.
Please note that the deadline for exam registration with the TUMonline system was on 31/1/2010. This date holds for all courses at the entire TUM; we have no influence on it.
There will be no written exam.

Content

Internet Protocols. Protocol mechanism and design techniques, that are typically used in network protocols (especially in the Internet). This includes a discussion of the reasons for using them. Implementation principles. Network architecture: principles that lead to the design of network architectures. Network algorithms. Simulation of networks.

Exercise submission

You may choose from two possibilities for submitting your exercises:

  • Either drop a printed version into the submission box which stands in our corridor, in front of office 03.05.052, on the table,
  • or send it as an e-mail attachment to our submission address.
    Only send PDF or plain ASCII/UTF-8 TXT files. (In particular, no MS Office formats.)
